Where do we put our used water?
GREY WATER
Grey water is all used water except for toilet water. In other words, it is the waste water we must dispose of from our sinks, showers, baths, and laundry. This water contains pathogens, bacteria, particulates, salts and chemicals. Even if we use 100% biodegrable products, there are still items in the water that we might not want to throw in our back yard, like hair, dirt, food scraps and more. Ceaning products generally produce salt, even if they are organic. The question is, where do we put our used water so that it is safe for us and the environment?
