Advantages of Fireball Solar Water Heaters

See below to view a diagram of a Fireball panel.
Solar water heating has always been the best way to get the most solar energy for the least cost. It continues to be, now more than ever, with our exciting line of "Fireball" solar water heaters. Your water heater is probably the most expensive appliance in your home. The Fireball system gives you the opportunity to make a valuable improvement to your property that pays you back at a rate greater than virtually any other safe investment.

SolarRoofs mission is "to develop and cost effectively supply the latest solar water heating technology around the world." To do that we knew we had to design solar water heaters that were much more attractive, significantly easier to install as well as more affordable.

The "Fireball 20-01 (20 square feet, series 01) solar collector is unique in many ways. Superior by Design means, from long experience in the solar water heating field, we specifically designed the collector and system to be "user friendly" and truly appropriate to its application.

It is a powerful solar collector with a premium black crystal copper absorber. The all aluminum frame is attractive and beautifully designed. The unbreakable Polycarbonate cover is much lighter and safer than glass, and features a ten year warranty.

You can easily pick up a Fireball collector, you can get it in architectural colors, its weight loading is minimal, its mounting system is tough and easy to use, the collector connections are all at one end and disappear into the collector so they cannot be damaged in shipping, and the entire solar loop can be done with no soldering. With it's light weight, the slim design is safe and easy to place on your roof. These features, as well as many more, make the Fireball the ideal collector for a wide range of solar water heating applications.

The Fireball series of open and closed loop Solar Water Heating Systems are designed first and foremost to save you money, year after year so quality and value are built in. Our prepackaged systems are modular with all materials and easy-to-follow instructions. Most of the work is done for you because the Fireball is mostly pre-assembled and labeled at the factory.

All Systems include at least one 20 square foot (20"x12') solar collector with mounting kit, 50' of 1/2" copper tubing and tube connections to existing tank, "Easy Connect" kit (with shut off and drain valves) or full freeze protection with heat exchanger, collector pressure relief valve and vent kits, install kit and complete instructions. In most situations all that is needed, for a person with good mechanical ability to assemble the system, are basic homeowner's tools and high temperature pipe insulation.

    Detailed options & prices.

Often you can utilize your existing 40 (plus) gallon electric water heater or, when 2 tanks are needed such as with gas water heaters, add a low cost water heater for your solar storage. We recently introduced a special small tank that goes under your existing water heater. It heats your existing tank by thermosiphoning solar heated water up to it so it takes advantage of the storage capacity of both tanks. This is ideal for use with gas, propaine or oil water heaters and / or when horizontal space is limited. This tank is available in open loop and as a closed loop with an efficient wrap around heat exchanger.

This web site gives you quick reference to savings, what you need to know to go solar and how to order, as well as full technical information and company background. For even further details, go to http://www.solarroofs.com.  We want to make it as easy as possible for you to "Go Solar".
